About me

Hello, my name is Lucie. I see yoga as a beautiful, never -ending path- there is always something to explore, new challenges to face, and new things to learn which bring an increase in peace, happiness and harmony into your life. At four years of age I started ballet classes and eventually became a ballerina. My body suffered severely and for health reasons I had to leave my beloved theatre. What helped me return to life without pain, and let me feel good about myself, was yoga .It is my safe place. I wanted to share this so I trained as a yoga teacher. I am also a qualified level 3 massage therapist. Massage is a big part of holistic wellbeing and compliments yoga practice very well. I shall be teaching Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa and gravity yoga and would welcome you at any of my classes. Please contact me to discuss which class would suit you best.

Hatha

Sun and Moon or Wilful or Forceful
The practice involves Asanas (postures) ,Pranayamas ( breathing excercises), which promotes peace in mind and body to prepare for Meditation .It is an umbrella for other styles of yoga

Yin

Yin yoga is focused on elongating and strengthening connective tissue , by holding postures for longer time, without engaging muscles.The practice enhances endurance and patience.

Vinyasa

Dynamic practice, where asanas (yoga poses) are linked in continuous flow ,synchronised with breathing for each move.

Gravity Yoga

It’s a targeted mobility training method that helps with stiff backs, locked up hips, and tight hamstrings. It's for all levels of ability and flexibility.

Transformational Breathwork

Transformational Breathwork is a powerful technique that combines conscious breathwork, mindfulness, and guided visualization to facilitate deep emotional release, physical rejuvenation, and spiritual expansion. This holistic approach helps you reconnect with your true self and tap into your unlimited potential.

My goal is to help people to live long and happy lives through adopting a Longevity diet. Longevity diet (it’s really not a diet, It’s a lifestyle choice!). Longevity’s main focus is to support individuals to live a long and healthy life. Longevity seeks to look at each person as an individual and support them to make positive food choices. Factors considered include a person's age, climate and season we live in. Part of its philosophy is that we are equipped to heal ourselves from within and we treat food as a medicine . When cooking, Longevity focusses on good sources of high quality and pure products. . These principles come from oriental medicine's TCM ( Traditional Chinese medicine ) and Ayurveda (Indian holistic healing system ) Both these systems are looking at the person as whole and aiming to prevent the disease .We are not looking just at the body, but mind and soul as well. With a good diet , you can support the immune system and avoid illnesses ,like heart problems , diabetes , artritis , leaky gut .....
